Joern is Head of Americas for the Automotive & Manufacturing Group with a strong international orientation, having worked in the EU, Japan, Korea and Americas.

Joern is based in Detroit and focuses 
SECTOR wise on clients in the: On & Off-Highway industry (PassCar, Powersports, Suppliers, Commercial Vehicles, Construction Equipment, Agricultural, Marine,…) and the wider Engineered Products & Industrial Manufacturing arena; in addition, he serves the Private Equity & Investors sector
FUNCTIONALLY he has extensive expertise in: Strategy & Operations (Enterprise, Product, R&D, Operations) from ideation to implementation, M&A (Target Search, xDD, PMI, Synergy realization, Sale), Enterprise Performance Improvement, Transformation, Turnaround, Product Cost, Quality, Warranty & Recall Management and ESG Value Creation
Joern holds a German Master Diploma in Management and Industrial Engineering (Dipl. Wirtschaftsingenieur) from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and an MBA from Boston University

Joern is married to Lisa and has two sons (Fenrik, Jakob). In his free times, Joern likes to travel, read, scuba dive, sail, ski and is a “DIY enthusiast”
