michael Szczepanski

Michael is a senior executive advisor (full-time) based in Copenhagen and part of our Nordics team. He is spearheading ADL business activities and growth in Denmark as part of the Cluster expansion strategy. He advises senior executives across a combination of topics, mainly covering strategy, M&A, organizational development, and innovation. Michael’s business focus, executive network, and project experience span sectors, particularly focusing on private equity, consumer & retail, industrial goods, and telecom.

Prior to joining Arthur D. Little, Michael worked at Strategy&, where he was responsible for establishing and growing the Strategy& business in Denmark. Over the years, Michael has worked in New York, Saigon, and Vienna.

In addition to his consulting experience, Michael has been VP and head of group strategy at Arla Foods (an international cooperative dairy company) and VP of strategy & insights at JP Morgan Private Bank in New York.

Michael holds a master’s degree in International Marketing and Management from Copenhagen Business School and has studied at Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien, Austria.

Michael is married to Pia, and they have two daughters called Norah and Molly. Michael enjoys traveling, culture, sports (football, skiing, tennis), and outdoor activities such as fishing.
