Arthur D. Little appoints Paco Hauser and Markus Stöckli to global Financial Services practice
<p>Global management consultancy Arthur D. Little strengthens its highly successful Financial Services practice with the appointment of Paco Hauser and Markus Stöckli to its Zurich office. Hauser will take over as director for the financial services market in Switzerland, and Stöckli will be senior manager. </p>
Hauser and Stöckli have worked as a powerful team for international and large domestic financial institutions for the past ten years. They have moved to Arthur D. Little for the opportunity to assist clients with strategy and operations at a global level. In addition to global career opportunities, they liked the fit to Arthur D. Little’s corporate culture. Both are skilled in building up new teams, developing new markets and managing client relationships.
Both Hauser and Stöckli have many years of specific experience in process consulting, IT strategy and business IT alignment. They join Arthur D. Little from CSC Management Consulting. Commenting on his decision to move to ADL, Hauser said: “What was appealing to me was the link of strategy, technology and innovation. I believe we can help ADL’s Financial Services practice to grow and sustain its market position.”
Dr. Diethard Bühler, Managing Director of Arthur D. Little in Central Europe, said: “Given the strong concentration of large multinational corporations in Switzerland, we are happy to announce the hiring of a strong, well-established senior team. We are keen to further expand the Financial Services practice and the number of professionals in the Swiss office.”
Hauser has a master’s degree from ETH Zurich in electrical engineering and worked for more than 10 years in several line functions at Atraxis, Swissair's IT affiliate. At KPMG Consulting, BearingPoint and CSC he gained experience in the banking and insurance sectors and has built experience in process consulting, strategy consulting and all aspects of IT, including outsourcing, cost reduction, strategy development, restructuring and off-shoring in India.
Stöckli holds a Master’s degree in economics from the University of Zurich with a focus on banking and finance management, and completed the executive programme of the Swiss Finance Institute (Swiss Banking School). As a consultant, Stöckli actively operated in many different countries and successfully project managed large international projects as well as smaller projects.
