ARTHUR D. LITTLE GROWS AMERICAS AUTOMOTIVE & MANUFACTURING PRACTICE WITH APPOINTMENT OF JOERN BUSS AS PARTNER

Arthur D. Little (ADL) today announced the appointment of Joern Buss as Partner and practice leader for its Automotive & Manufactured Goods (AMG) group, strengthening its Americas team. 

Joern brings over 25 years of on-and-off highway transport & engineered products industry experience to ADL with a focus on value creation, innovation and strategy. He worked at and supported the rapid growth at a range of consultancies as well as in-industry at major automotive manufacturers over the years. Based in Detroit, he will focus on accelerating the development of ADL’s Americas practice, targeting opportunities across the mobility & engineered goods value chain and the investor realm.

Joern joins from EY-Parthenon, where he has been an equity Partner since 2021, working with major mobility industry OEMs, suppliers, other manufacturing companies and private equity firms. 
Born in Germany, Joern has worked and lived globally, including in Europe, Asia, and the United States, where he has been based since 2001. Before EY-Parthenon, he held senior roles at Marsh & McLennan, Oliver Wyman, Ricardo, Roland Berger, and began his career working for Porsche and Audi.
