Ryoya is a Principal in our Tokyo office. He is a core member of the Chemical practice, where he helps chemical companies transform their business portfolios, design organizations and systems, and improve profitability based on his deep knowledge of the industry.
He is particularly strong in the specialty chemicals area and has extensive experience in helping clients with high-performance fibers, plastics, and films.
Prior to joining ADL, he worked in the carbon fiber technology development department at Toray Industries, a major Japanese chemical company, and on the chemical materials team at Deloitte.
He holds a master’s degree in agricultural and life sciences and a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the University of Tokyo, where he studied cellulose nanofibers.
