Shuji is a principal in the Tokyo office and a core member of the firm’s Financial Services practice.

His main areas of expertise are mid- to long-term visioning, new business and innovation strategies, digital transformation, and organizational and operational strategies in the financial industry. In particular, he has been engaged in supporting clients who need to reform their businesses in preparation for structural changes in the industry.

In recent years, he has also been focusing on the collaboration between the financial industry and other industries. He has also been involved in cross-industry value creation projects targeting end customers, such as the entry of non-financial businesses into the financial services business using embedded finance and the establishment of business models that utilize financial services as an organizational function.

Prior to joining ADL, he worked for IT and accounting firms, where he supported numerous business, operational, and technology transformations, mainly in the financial industry.
