Arthur D. Little appoints Amaury Klossa as Partner and Head of French Energy & Utilities practice
Arthur D. Little (ADL) today announced that Amaury Klossa has joined the company as a Partner to lead its Energy & Utilities practice in France. Based out of ADL’s Paris office, Amaury is also a core member of the Strategy & Organization Practice, drawing on his 25 years of experience of working in strategy consulting, corporate finance and investment at both multinationals and start-ups.
Amaury’s position for the past five years was Partner and Energy & Environment Practice leader at Emerton, where he supported Fortune 500 clients across all continents and in over 30 countries – including emerging markets in Africa and Latin America – on business planning and market entry. Prior to that, he worked at the consulting firms Advancy and Mars & Co with clients in the utility & environment and heavy industry sectors. Previously, he was Partner and European Business Development Director at the digital start-up RVR Systems. He started his career in corporate finance, working at Banque Paribas and Credit Lyonnais.
Vincent Bamberger, Managing Partner, ADL Paris and Brussels, comments: “I’d like to welcome Amaury to ADL’s Paris office, where I look forward to working closely with him. In a booming global sector such as energy, his experience of high-level consulting across multiple international markets is invaluable. With highly recognized expertise in the decarbonization of cities and industries, renewable energy, green mobility and more globally in energy transition innovation, Amaury is able to see the bigger picture and fully understands the challenges ahead for businesses, governments and utilities – it’s what gives weight to the strategic advice he delivers.”
Amaury Klossa, Partner at ADL, adds: “ADL has a reputation for executing innovative projects in the energy & utilities area, advising major utilities and oil & gas multinationals on the strategic transformation towards a greener future and helping governments to develop sustainable energy policies. With climate change increasingly near the top of both political and business agendas, ensuring that the world makes a quick but well-planned transition to new energy sources is imperative, and the consulting industry has a major role to play. I look forward to leading ADL France’s contribution to this effort.”
Amaury is a graduate of ESSEC Business School, Paris. Until 2019, he was Vice-President of the 60,000 member ESSEC Alumni Association.
