Markus Yap, Ph.D., Senior Consultant, possesses industry experience in the areas of medical and surgical devices, medical imaging, radiology PACS, and molecular diagnostics. He has worked for Silicon Valley startups as well as large healthcare companies, such as Stryker and GE Healthcare. Dr. Yap is a graduate of Occidental College and holds an M.S. in electrical engineering from Caltech, a Ph.D. in bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and an MBA from the University of Chicago. In 1999-2000 he was a Clinical Engineering Fellow at Duke University Endo-Surgery Department.
