Justin Tan

Justin is a Partner based in our Singapore office. As Head of our Financial Services Practice in South East Asia and Taiwan, he focuses primarily on the financial services sector and its adjacencies.

Justin’s experience spans strategy development, business transformation and risk management for clients in retail and business banking, corporate banking, wealth management and private banking, as well as private equity. His expertise includes the application of advanced data analytics across digital and traditional segments, helping organizations to build robust analytics capabilities and leveraging analytical insights to enhance business decision-making.

Prior to joining Arthur D. Little, Justin was a career consultant, industry practitioner, and entrepreneur. He started his consulting career at Oliver Wyman, eventually becoming the lead Partner for retail and business banking, as well as wealth management, in Asia-Pacific. After Oliver Wyman, Justin co-founded an advisory firm focusing on financial institutions and incubating new ventures. He was also previously the Head of Strategy and Business Development for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in the Pacific Rim, leading both organic and inorganic growth initiatives.

Justin graduated with a Bachelor of Science (with distinction) and Master of Science (Management Science) degree from Stanford University in the US. He also holds both Chartered Financial Consultant (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certifications.
