Arthur D. Little announces promotion of four new Partners
Arthur D. Little (ADL) today announced the promotion of four of its consultants to the rank of Partner, in recognition of the expertise and depth of experience that each one brings to the company.
The latest appointments to Partner are as follows:
• Marius Romanescu, Partner, Operations Management Practice. Marius joined Arthur D. Little in 2007 and is based out of the company’s Frankfurt office. With more than a decade of strategic consulting experience, he supports clients in realizing productive, people-centric and digitally enabled organizations – with a special focus on the healthcare sector. In addition, Marius co-leads Arthur D. Little’s Digital Centre of Excellence, enabling a fast digital experience with state-of-the-art expertise in digital technologies (e.g. by quick ‘proof of concepts’ using data analytics and robotic process automation).
• Joseph Salem, Partner, Travel & Transportation Practice. Based in Dubai, Joseph has been with Arthur D. Little for nearly 10 years and is currently the Head of Travel & Transportation in the Middle East. His work focuses on the future of mobility and innovative business models in the transport and logistics sector. Joseph has led major strategic assignments for global mobility players and supported several transport ministries & authorities in reshaping the national mobility ecosystem.
• Dr. Franziska Thomas, Partner, Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice. Based in Frankfurt, Dr. Franziska currently leads Arthur D. Little’s Healthcare & Life Sciences practice for Central Europe. Franziska is an experienced management consultant and industry expert with more than 15 years of working experience in the global pharma and biotech industry. She is focused on supporting clients in bringing innovative medicines to patients faster and more effectively, and combines in-depth understanding of science and technology with strong analytical and strategic skills.
• Koji Uchida, Partner, Chemicals Practice. Koji rejoined Arthur D. Little in 2014 and is based in Tokyo. Currently he leads the Chemicals Practice in Japan, but he is also involved in the global Technology and Innovation Management (TIM) Practice. Since returning to ADL, Koji has worked on business strategy development and implementation in chemicals and industrial materials, as well as turnaround and corporate finance in broad industries. More recently, Koji has had an increasing focus on sustainability to accommodate the industry’s growing interest. He has also led many due-diligence and post-merger integration projects. Before joining ADL, Koji held a senior corporate staff position at Toray Industries, a diversified performance materials company and the world's leading manufacturer of carbon fiber.
