DERECK JI APPOINTED AS MANAGING PARTNER OF ARTHUR D. LITTLE CHINA
Arthur D. Little (ADL) today announced Dereck Ji has been appointed as the Managing Partner of its China business. With over 30 years of working experience in mainland China, Dereck will join the Shanghai office, where he will assume the role of Managing Partner and join its Strategy & Organization practice.
With a background in the public sector, real estate, ESG and carbon neutrality, city development strategy, urban planning, and regional economic development, Dereck has a wealth of experience. He has worked extensively with Chinese SOEs in corporate strategy & business transformation, and his diverse range of skills will undoubtedly be a valuable asset to the firm.
Before joining ADL, Dereck worked at PA Consulting, Roland Berger, and EY Parthenon China. In the latter, where he served as Partner and Strategy Leader, he assisted in building a strategy practice. Leading a team of consultants, he delivered numerous projects in city development and regional economic development areas for leading cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Zhengzhou, and Shenyang. Additionally, he has several years of experience at Roland Berger, during which time he was able to effectively establish the public service practice in China, making it the second-largest such practice within the company worldwide.
