Gender Equality Policy (UNI/PDR 125:2022)
Arthur D. Little Società Benefit S.p.A. promotes and supports the application of its core Principles for Gender Equality, through the definition and dissemination of its Policy to all its stakeholders.
The fundamental principles underlying ADL's Gender Equality Policy are:
- Impartiality and inclusiveness
- Fairness and transparency
- Staff development
- Protection of the person
- Combating all forms of violence and discrimination
In order to achieve and improve its objectives in terms of equity, diversity and inclusion, the company is committed to maintaining and continuously developing a Human Resources Management System capable of:
- to prevent all forms of gender discrimination and to combat any act detrimental to the dignity of staff, regardless of the role and the level of responsibility
- guarantee equal pay and opportunities for growth and development in the company for the entire workforce, regardless of gender
- support the family welfare of its employees through working methods (smart working, part-time, flexible working hours) such as to promote the reconciliation of professional and private life
- ensure the availability of resources and tools for the management of parenting and work-life balance and for the creation of an ideal working environment, thus ensuring staff satisfaction
- enhance diversity in every business process: from the search and selection of human resources to access to training, from the definition of remuneration policies to the evaluation of performance and the attribution of reward systems, from the selection of suppliers to the provision of services/ supply of products
- encourage information, awareness-raising, and staff engagement actions on equal opportunities and women's empowerment, avoiding stereotypes and promoting the visibility of women's contribution
- promote communication that transparently declares the objectives to achieve gender equality and enhance diversity and support women's empowerment towards its employees, direct collaborators, and externally with business partners and suppliers
- contribute to improving the social impact for our communities (dignity and equality, human rights).
