ARTHUR D. LITTLE APPOINTS SATOSHI OHARA AS PARTNER IN GLOBAL HEALTHCARE & LIFE SCIENCES PRACTICE

Arthur D. Little (ADL) today announced that Satoshi Ohara has rejoined the company as a Partner in its Global Healthcare & Life Sciences practice. With 28 years of strategy consulting experience, Satoshi has worked for clients in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, consumer goods & retail, chemicals & metals, automotive & machinery, energy, ICT, private equity, and financial services. He will be based in ADL’s Tokyo office as a core member of the company’s Japanese team.
Satoshi’s most recent role was CFO at health tech start-up Ubie, Inc, where he contibuted to raise 50M Euros of Series C capital. Prior to this engagement, Satoshi worked extensively in the consulting industry, including four years as a Partner at ADL Japan, where he made a significant contribution to the expansion of the business. Before ADL, he held senior positions at SIGMAXYZ, Bain & Co, Roland Berger, and Booz, Allen & Hamilton. He also worked in asset management at Goldman Sachs.
With his broad experience across multiple industries, Satoshi has led projects related to M&A/alliance, portfolio management and restructuring, future vison and new business development, organization and operation reform, R&D/SCM/M&S model change, and digital transformation.

Satoshi has a BA in Political Science and Economics from Waseda University, Tokyo, and an MBA in Finance and Business Policy Studies from the University of Chicago.
